Birthday Party Packages are NOW AVAILABLE at Leaps and Bounds

The package includes:

• Invitations for the guests
• 1.5 hours of Fun and Fitness for your child and their friends. Suitable for children 3 – 12 years. (plus an hour for eating / present opening etc. i.e. – you will have the centre for 2.5 hours)
• Set up of the “party table”
• Helium balloons for the “party table” (which your child may take home)
• Gift for the Birthday child

Parents are able to utilize the fridge / freezer / microwave/ kitchenette to organize and prepare any food they like.

The only catch - we need a minimum of 8 children (and a maximum of 15 children)

The centre is undercover and fully air conditioned – So no matter what the weather brings the party can go ahead.

The rates are as follows:

Members Rate - $10 per child.

Non- Members Rate - $13 per child.

Please note that a minimum of 14 days notice and a $50 deposit is required.

At Leaps & Bounds we take kids nutrition very seriously.

In order to encourage children to talk about food, particularly fruit and vegetables, we have devised a number of games and worksheets.

During 2009 we have taken nutrition a little further!

Each of the classes for the 3 to 5 age group have planted sunflowers, tomatoes and lettuce this year! 

The children love getting their hands dirty, and of course they get to take their "salad"pots home!

I am delighted to have received numerous photos from the children showing how their plants are going.

In conjunction with the planting projects, parents are given a fact sheet on the benefits of the particular salad item. This encourages discussion at home regarding healthy food choices.
